About

Sebastian Geithner is a German fine art photographer specializing in minimalist black and white landscapes, architecture, and abstract compositions.

Born in 1982, his photographic journey took a decisive turn during a trip through France. There, he discovered a new way of seeing—one that looked beyond the surface of things. This experience led him to the work of masters like Michael Kenna, Bill Brandt, and Josef Sudek. Their ability to distill scenes into pure form and emotion shaped his artistic vision.

Sebastian works in black and white. His images reveal the quiet beauty often overlooked in our busy world. Through strong compositions and careful reduction, he invites viewers to pause and see landscapes and structures in a new light.

His work explores silence, solitude, and stillness. Each photograph captures moments where light, form, and atmosphere create something timeless. The images are crafted to bring a sense of peace and contemplation.
